Why is this important? Volunteering in your community is a great way to meet new people, have amazing experiences, and is valuable to add to scholarship and job applications. You can tutor children at elementary schools, build houses for Habitat for Humanity, organize food for a food bank, help people at a hospital, walk dogs at the animal shelter…lots of options!!
