ABOUT THE CLASS

This class enables students to explore and develop their special talents and interests in writing personal essays, poems, short stories, and other creative works. Students will examine a variety of models as they develop their understanding of each genre/form. Meeting deadlines, accepting and giving feedback, reading aloud to a group or a partner, and the willingness to produce a substantial amount of writing are all essential components of this course.
