The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) is an international organization dedicated to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.

We take great pride in serving our Kingdom, Principality and Shire through our arts, sciences and our heavy and rapier fighting. 

We have monthly business meetings held on the first Sunday of the month. (Please contact Asta Bjornsdotter for more info).

We have an Arts and Sciences night every third Thursday of the month. (Please contact Brigit Ní Sheachnasaigh).

We hold fighter practices (both heavy and rapier) and special training events on Sundays. (Please contact Sigfrøðr)

Upcoming Event: Dangeld Tor/ Golden Rivers Championships (April 18th, please see events page for more details) Prospective Merger Meeting

The prospective merger of Golden Rivers and Danegeld Tor has been on many minds and we invite the populace to the Danegeld Tor and Golden Rivers Championships for a discussion on the prospective merger.  Please bring your questions, your concerns, and any comments you wish to be aired with the officers and populace of both groups.  This will be the final meeting on the subject so if you are unable to attend please make sure to forward any items to an officer and it will be presented in your stead.  The time will be announced at the Championship or when the schedule is finalized so please keep an eye on the schedule or an ear for the shouts.  We hope to see you there.
