A little bit about me: I am a heritage speaker of Spanish. My father came to the United States from Galicia, a northwestern region of Spain, when he was 15 years old. My maternal grandparents came just before the start of the Spanish Civil War. I am passionate about sharing my love of the Spanish language and culture with my students. I have a BA in Spanish from Kean University and an MAT in Spanish from Rutgers University. I have been teaching at WHS since 2002 and have been the Spanish Club advisor since 2004. In 2014, I was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year by the WHS PTSO. I look forward to many more years to come.
