Welcome to my Art classroom, I teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. I have been teaching at Edison Intermediate since I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2002. I am a graduate of Westfield Schools. I received my Masters in Special Education with a concentration on Learning Disabilities from Kean University. I have been working on a Masters in Holocaust and Genocide studies since 2018.
I continue to study and make art in my spare time. I love to paint. I am an avid reader, a runner who mostly runs trails and ultras these days. My daughter and I study Taekwondo together, we are both black belts. I spend time visiting New Hampshire with my husband, daughter and Dad. We enjoy hiking and the beauty of nature. I look forward to instilling creative thinking and exploration of all things art with your child.
This summer I was very excited to help a former student work on a mural project for the town of Westfield. Adam is off to Otis College of Art this fall and I couldn't be prouder! :)
