Welcome to 4th grade,

        I cannot believe the summer is almost over. I hope you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to coming back to Wilson and ready for a fabulous 4th grade.

        This summer, I worked at a Rutgers Stem Camp in Hillside with students who were in grades 3-6. We created catapults and learned about hydroponics. I  was also lucky to be able to watch my grandsons, Shane who is 6 years old, Troy who is 3 years old, and Hope who is 9 months old. Spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. They have an inground pool in their yard and we spent many of the hot summer afternoons swimming and playing with water balloons. I did manage to go down the shore to Lavallette one day with Mrs. Kraus. We also went to the Sussex County Fair where we watched pig races and we watched a Monster Truck demolition derby.

        The last few weeks the custodians have spent installing a new classroom floor and I have been decorating our classroom to get ready for next week. I hope you all have your Chrome Books charged and ready to go because we will be using them almost everyday*. Everything is just about ready; all we need is you. Fourth grade is a fabulous year, and we will spend it learning new things together. 

        Remember to bring a healthy snack. I think the schedule will allow for us to have a quick snack in the morning. So enjoy the last few days of your summer. I can't wait to see you on Thursday, September 7th.
