Outdoor Space

Curves from the Scenic Railroad Roller Coaster and Minerva Amusement Park continue to play a theme throughout the school, including the outdoor play area.

There are designated play areas to help break up the space and the colors in the back of the building are brighter to create a more vibrant and appealing space.

The concrete play area deflects heat to provide a cooler surface than asphalt.

Some areas of the outdoor play area are not complete yet, and that’s intentional. We want students to have a say in what the space will ultimately look like and to pick some of the playground toys that will be installed.
