*Any student who takes a VHS Learning Advanced Placement course at Westborough High School must take the AP Exam in order to receive Level 5 credit on their transcript. If a student does not take the AP Exam for the course, then, Level 4 credit will be reflected on the student’s transcript.
The VHS Learning program unites teachers and students from a variety of social, economic, and geographic backgrounds to study and collaborate with one another in a virtual learning environment. They offer a wide range of unique elective offerings, including many Advanced Placement courses.
Students interested in electing VHS Learning courses should have proven success in honors level courses and self confidence in their ability to succeed in an independent learning environment. Semester courses as well as full year courses are available. Students may enroll in a maximum of two semester courses or one full year course. For more information or to view the course catalog, visit the VHS Learning website at vhslearning.org.
Once you are enrolled, you will be scheduled one VHS Learning period per course in the Library Media Center. VHS Learning courses require students to be actively engaged in their coursework approximately 6-8 hours for a standard level class, 8-10 hours for an honors level class, and 10-12 hours for an AP level class each week.
