Interns will help provide direct small group instruction to students, under the direction of a highly qualified WESD lead teacher, utilizing an instructional plan, intervention resources and curricular materials.

This placement offers interns the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and skills.

Most importantly, interns have the chance to be a mentor to a child and inspire the learner from within.

NEED: We need energetic and committed college interns to provide instruction for targeted students at Title I schools in the following:

An orientation will be offered by the WESD Academic Support Programs to welcome interns, complete application requirements, and provide an overview of the program.
