THIS INFORMATION IS ONLY FOR THE ATHLETES THAT HAVE SPOKEN TO ME ABOUT MISSING FRIDAY TRYOUTS.

Video Submission Requirements

Videos are to be uploaded to YouTube and their individual links submitted to me by email (mariah.apodaca@guhsdaz.org) by following the instructions below:

• Tutorial to upload to YouTube:

• Don't worry! If you follow the instructions on the video, only people with the link (coaches and judges) will have access to your video. It will not be available to the public!

• Please title your videos using your first and last name

• Once you have uploaded your video, please submit your video by emailing me the link. My email is mariah.apodaca@guhsdaz.org

Video Should consist of the following:

1. YouTube Title (Ex: Caroline Mullens)

• Please state your name (first and last)

• State your current grade

• Perform your Toe-Touch

• Perform the provided Cheer

• Perform the provided Sideline Dance - To music (Please make sure you're using the correct song for the dance)

• Standing/Running Tumbling Video (OPTIONAL)

  • Please only do this if you have room or space in a yard or in your home (with parent/guardian permission)!

Filming Requirements:

1. Please film your video in a space that allows full out movement.

   • Outside

   • Living room with furniture moved out of the way

   • Basically any open area

   • Do not film your tryout videos in your bedroom. It makes it difficult to see all of you and you should have enough room to comfortably hit motions, jump, dance, etc. full out!

2. Please make sure that your camera angle is able to film your entire body.

   • We should be able to see your arms and hands when over your head and out to the side, all the way to your feet!

   • Your camera should be facing you straight on meaning it is not tilted upward toward you or filming you at a diagonal.

   • Ask a parent or sibling to film for you so you can focus on the material!

3. Please make sure your music is loud enough to hear in the video.

   • Again, having a parent or sibling there to help film and play music is best!

Submit your video by 6PM on Friday 10/1

This information will be deleted after tryouts on Friday.
