Hello! I’m Mrs. Welch, and this is my fourth year teaching at Sahuaro. I’m a wife and a mom to three wonderful kids, One of which is a fellow Sahuaro student. I am deeply passionate about reading and dedicated to helping students discover their own love for it. I also love the journey that we take in first grade through different math strategies. l am looking forward to a fantastic year together!

Hello! I’m Ms. Sanford. Welcome to First Grade. I am a first year teacher from Fargo, North Dakota. I enjoy hiking, traveling, and going to the lake. I also love all things sports and fashion. I cannot wait to see what this school year has in store.
I hold a bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and completed my student teaching here at Sahuaro Elementary.
Welcome to First Grade. I am a first year teacher from Tacoma, Washington. I have my bachelors of science degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Although it is my first year, I am familiar with Sahuaro because I student taught here last semester. I am so excited for this school year.
