Regional Bus Driver Training

All regular, substitute, and activity bus drivers are required by the Department of Public Instruction to attend the following training programs:

Annual 3-hour training workshop sponsored by the local school district or county superintendent's office. SFN 52087 is to be filled out upon completion of training and brought back to the driver’s employing district to be entered into the STARS PER02 report.
DD-4 workshop every five years. New drivers must attend within one year of employment. (NDCC 15.1-07-20)
Other meetings/training called by the transportation director.

August 12, 2026; 9:00 am - Noon MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ Bowman Public School in Bowman, ND
August 13, 2026; 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ Dickinson Middle School (Southeast Entrance) in Dickinson, ND
August 19, 2026; 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ New England Public School in New England, ND
August 26, 2026; 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ Richardton-Taylor High School in Richardton, ND
September 9, 2026; 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ Killdeer Elementary in Killdeer, ND
September 30, 2026; 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm MST. In-Person 3 hr. Training @ Dickinson Middle School (Southeast Entrance) in Dickinson, ND
