Miranda Samuelson
Mental Health Coordinator
I have worked in primary prevention and behavioral health for over 15 years. I currently am funded through a grant called PFS and I am focusing on developing programs and strategies that target children of parents with mental illness or substance use as well as binge drinking in young adults.
Some programming in prevention I offer is: Sources of Strength, Parents Lead, Youth Mental Health First Aid, grant writing (though they are hard to come by right now), prevention training and Technical Assistance and behavioral health complex problem solving. I LOVE data and learning about strengths in communities, schools, families, and people. I have access to a ton of resources and love to help brainstorm implementation ideas for all kinds of supports.
