Tim Stowe

ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL

Welcome and thank you for visiting! My name is Tim Stowe. I am the Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade Principal serving the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Public School District. I have been a part of WEM Elementary as principal since 2013. We serve approximately 330 students from Morristown, Waterville, Elysian and surrounding communities. I am most proud of our students and families that make up our wonderful school. Additionally, our teachers and support staff are an amazing group of educators dedicated to going above and beyond for each child.

I am a proud graduate of Augsburg College where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and played football. I still enjoy following Augsburg athletics and the success of fellow teammates and graduates. Go Auggies!! After finding my calling as an educator in college, I found my passion for education as a teacher. I've taught in 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades as a classroom teacher. My career in teaching led me to obtain my M.A. in Ed. Leadership at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and eventually administrative licensure before being hired as WEM Elementary Principal and Data/Technology specialist.

When I am not at school, I am most likely with my family. My wife Meghan and I are blessed with two children, Macie and Bennett. Spending time with our large extended families, camping, fishing, softball and traveling up north, are some of our favorite activities.

In addition to my role of principal at WEM, I also spend part of my day working to improve learning through technology. As a data/technology specialist, I help to connect teachers and staff with tools to enhance instruction and learning through the use of technology.

If you are new to the area and looking for a great school for your child, I would love to speak with you about why WEM Elementary is a great fit. Feel free to stop by anytime, email me at tstowe@wem.k12.mn.us or call 507-362-4439.
