Bereavement is the state of loss, when a person close to you has sadly passed away, whether it be friend or family, there is no set period of recovery, as grief and loss can affect each person differently.

Turn to friends or family - Now is the time to lean on the people who care about you.


Accept that many people feel awkward when trying to comfort someone when they are grieving.


Talk to someone - Sometimes the feeling can become too strong, and this is when we should begin to open up, even if we find it difficult.
