405H/405ACP Senior Science Capstone - Semester Course 

Gr 12 | 3 Class Credits .5 Lab Credit | | Semester-Long | 6x per Cycle

PREREQUISITE: Students must have completed one year of physics, one year of chemistry, and one year of biology at Wellesley High School.  This course is limited to seniors.

What better way to learn is there than being a truly active learner. If you want to dictate what you learn, this class is for you. Have you ever thought about a scientific phenomenon that was touched upon in a science class, or perhaps one that your science teachers have never had the opportunity to cover in their classes? This class is your chance to learn about those phenomena. 

The goal of the course is to have an outlet for students to discover topics in which they have always been interested, but never had the chance to explore. Throughout the semester, the class as a whole will choose topics to explore, research, and present to the Wellesley High School community in a variety of different media.

This course is offered at the combined ACP/Honors level. Students will be placed in the Honors section for scheduling purposes only. Students will be able to designate which level they would like to be assessed at in the fall once they learn about course expectations.
