Algebra I ACP will formalize and extend the content that students have learned in previous mathematics courses. Specifically, this course will deepen and extend the understanding of linear and exponential relationships, how those relationships contrast with each other, and how linear models can be used to explain data that has a linear trend, as well as provide an introduction to quadratic and exponential relationships.
Essential Skills:
Create and interpret mathematical representations graphically, verbally, or algebraically using correct notation.
Simplify, solve and evaluate numerical and algebraic expressions and equations.
Draw valid conclusions and justify reasoning and solutions.
