This college preparatory program is designed for students whose achievement indicates the need for additional help and practice in mastering fundamental skills. Outside reading, homework, and preparation are expected. Examples of representative literature include Of Mice and Men, Catcher in the Rye and works by Twain, Miller or Williams. Although quantity of reading assigned varies with the difficulty of the work, typical reading is 15-25 pages per night.
