Vectors (Year 11 Higher)

Vector: is a quantity which has both magnitude and direction. It can be used to show a movement. 

Column Vector: is a way of writing a vector which gives information about the vector. It is split into a horizontal component and a vertical component.

Vector Notation: is how we write vectors in mathematics

Scalar: is a number on its own used when dealing with vectors. 

Magnitude of a vector: is the length of a vector.
