The health portion of the course offers a comprehensive treatment of personal and community health and safety. The physical education section stresses participation in activities, which help develop basic motor skills. Skills are taught for some team participation.

Prerequisite: Health and PE, Teacher recommendation
This course will consist of lifting through a strenuous upper and lower body workout, running, and physical conditioning. It is designed to improve fundamentals that will prevent injury on athletic fields and for the person serious about his/her strength and physical conditioning.

This course emphasizes regular participation in a variety of enjoyable fitness activities that promote a healthy and wellness-oriented lifestyle. This is an individual health related fitness course in which the students, through active participation, develop knowledge and skills to provide enjoyment in the areas of cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and muscular strength/endurance.

Team Sport will help students improve a variety of physical education skills and techniques. The advanced physical education courses address overall physical conditioning and includes running, calisthenics, and activities designed to increase strength, stamina, and endurance. The student must pass each level course to advance.

The Strength & Conditioning II Curriculum expands upon the skills taught in Strength & Conditioning I. Students will continue to focus on developing & improving Health Related-Fitness which includes Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility and Improved Body Composition.
