sanders' Profanity Clause

If a student uses profane language in my class, it comes with extra special consequences.

  • 1st Offense: Student must find five synonyms or alternatives for the word/phrase, write the definition of each alternative, and then use them each correctly in sentences.
  • 2nd Offense: See 1st Offense, but ten sentences must be written.
  • 3rd Offense: See 1st Offense, but fifteen sentences must be written.
  • 4th Offense: Student will write a letter home to their parent/guardian.

*Please note that if a student chooses to audibly use profane language towards another student or teacher in the classroom, they will automatically be sent out with a referral. If a student refuses to complete the requirements of the profanity clause, it will result in a referral to administration.*
