What is Pear Deck?
Pear Deck is an application that is used with Google Slides. It allows teachers to create interactive slides to use with their students. Add the magic of formative assessments and interactive questions to your presentations right from Google Slides.

Find a Google Slide presentation you've already made, utilize a pre-made template in Pear Deck Template Library, or start a new slide deck.
Once you have a Google Slide deck ready, launch the Pear Deck add-on and incorporate at least one of each type of interactive component.Â

Use your Pear Deck slide deck with your students on Teacher-Paced mode. During your lesson(s), utilize all of the features on the teacher dashboard:
Navigation Buttons
Speaker Notes
Show/Hide Responses
Lock & Unlock Timer
Add a New Prompt
Turn on Student-Paced Mode (part-way through the lesson change your mode)
Change Response Layout (List, Grid, & Overlay)
Sort Responses in different ways
After your lesson(s), reflect on your instruction using Pear Deck and submit your evidence of mastery on this Reflection Form. Please include the links to your Slide Decks and any other evidence of mastery such as photos, links to lessons/presentations, student work, student data, video of lesson, etc.
