What is Google Slides?
Google Slides is a collaborative and online presentation app. It makes it easy to create presentations and work with others.
How does this benefit my students?
Organize: Organize your lessons and/or routines for your classroom/meetings.
Engage: Engage your audience with the use of pictures, videos and links.
Plan for an upcoming lesson, meeting or presentation.
Create a Google Slide Presentation.
The slide must incorporate:
Images
Embedded video
Links and hyperlinks (at least one link to another slide within the presentation and at least one external link)
Incorporate a chart/diagram
Formatting of text and the use of a background or use of theme/template
Add at least one appropriate animation
Apply a transition to the slide show
Utilize the Q&A feature of slides during your presentation
Chose at least 1 of the following to incorporate: into your presentation
Add a countdown timer
Inserting Audio
Presentation Notes
Publish to the Web
Looping
Downloading to a variety of formats
Modification of theme/master slide
Use your Google Slidedeck for a presentation or lesson. Use the Q&A feature of slides while sharing your presentation.
After your lesson, reflect on your instruction using Google Slides and submit your evidence of mastery on this Reflection Form.
Evidence of Mastery should include a link to the Google Slide(s) that demonstrate the above badge requirements.
