What is EdPuzzle?
EdPuzzle unlocks the power of videos through simple editing tools and dazzling student data. The process is simple - find a video, add questions and assign it to your class. Watch as they progress and hold them accountable on their learning journey.
How does this benefit my students?
Engagement: Self-paced learning with interactive video lessons. It's easy to add your own voice narration and questions!
Accountability: Track participant/student engagement and understanding of content.
Time Efficiency: Utilize premade videos from YouTube, Khan Academy, Crash Course and more.
Find a minimum of THREE videos you want to use in EdPuzzle. At least ONE of the videos must be created by you. (Screencastify is a great tool for creating your own video.) Need ideas? Contact an Instructional Technology Coach.
Using the video you have discovered, uploaded, or recorded on your own, please incorporate at least one of each type of interactive component (cut, voiceover, multiple choice question, open-ended question, and note).
Assign the Edpuzzle to your students and select the settings you would like to apply.
Option 1: Have participants/students complete the assignment individually and submit the assignment once they are finished on their preferred communication style (ex. Google Classroom, SeeSaw, Meeting Agenda, etc.)
-OR-
Option 2: Use “Live Mode” to complete the EdPuzzle assignment together as a group/class.
You may review participants’/students’ results during or after the assignment has been completed. Open-ended questions can be reviewed for grading once the assignment is submitted by participants/students!
After your lessons, reflect on your instruction using EdPuzzle and submit your evidence of mastery on this Reflection Form.
Your evidence must include a minimum of THREE separate EdPuzzles you have created that includes the criteria above.
Other evidence of Mastery can be photos, links to lessons/presentations, participant/student work, participant/student data, videos of lessons, etc
