What is Discovery Education?
Discovery Education inspires educators to go beyond traditional learning with award-winning digital content and professional development.
How does this benefit my students?
Engagement: Material is presented in a variety of formats and languages.
Collaboration: Teachers can design materials for specific units and share with grade or subject alike colleagues.
Look through your upcoming lessons. Find two units you would like to make more engaging. Curate materials for at least two different units using Discovery Education.
A content folder within Discovery Education for each of the units.
Both units must contain:
Video relevant to the unit
Quiz (at least one created by you)
Interactive activity
The following needs to be used in at least one of the units:
Studio feature
Assessment from assessment builder
Ready to use activity
Assign the units to your students. Have the students complete the assigned activities. Take a picture of at least one of the interactive activities being completed.
After your lesson, reflect on your instruction using Discovery Education. Submit your evidence of mastery on this Reflection Form.
Evidence of Mastery should include links to your units, using the share feature of Discovery Education. You can also include photos, links to student work, student data, or video of lesson etc.
