This year's summer reading theme is inclusion!
The Weehawken learning community is a community that includes all students and embraces everyone's differences. In September, we will be improving our character development programs and instructional models to ensure that all students are safe, welcome and educated. To prepare for this change, we recommend that all members of the community engage in this community-wide summer reading initiative.
At Weehawken HS, some courses have required summer assignments and some courses have recommended assignments.
This site will also include optional but encouraged websites and links.
Remedial course information is also available below for students who need to attend summer school. Those students and their parents should immediately seek out the advice of their school counselor.
Recommended reading for teachers, parents and community members.
It is highly recommended that ALL students work on SAT prep this summer through Khan Academy.
Math Enrichment Boot Camp ~ Due to construction, the Math Enrichment Program will be held at TRS.
