Hi!

I’m Ms. Ruiz, and I’m thrilled to be one of your child's Pre-K teachers this year. I can’t wait to meet each of your children and start this exciting journey together!

A little about me: I’m a proud mom to a fantastic 10-year-old who is about to enter 5th grade. I’ve called Weehawken home for the past 12 years, though I was born and raised in Connecticut. This is my 6th year teaching Pre-K, my 1st year teaching at Webster. My journey in education has been both diverse and rewarding. I hold a BA in Communication and Media Arts from Montclair State University, but my path led me to teaching. I began my career in 2018 as an aftercare teacher, progressed to a teacher assistant, took on a long-term substitute role in 2020, and in 2021, I became a Pre-K classroom teacher.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love staying active, cooking, baking, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. I’m looking forward to a fun-filled year of learning, growth, and discovery with all of you!
