Welcome to Room 205
Welcome to Room 205 Family. We are so happy that we all get to be together for this upcoming school year!
Welcome to an exciting year ahead in our preschool classroom! This year, we’ll embark on a joyful learning journey together as we explore a range of foundational skills that will set the stage for a successful transition to kindergarten.
Our curriculum will include:
Letters A-Z: We’ll practice writing, identifying, and sounding out each letter to build strong literacy skills.
Shapes and Colors: Through hands-on activities, children will learn to recognize and name various shapes and colors.
Numbers 1-20: We’ll explore counting, number recognition, and basic math concepts.
Name Writing: Each child will have the opportunity to practice writing their name, fostering both fine motor skills and personal confidence.
Social Skills: Emphasis will be placed on sharing, communication, cooperation, and learning to follow a classroom routine.
Science: We’ll introduce basic science concepts through hands-on experiments and explorations of the natural world, sparking curiosity and discovery.
Social Studies: Our activities will help children understand their community, cultures, and the importance of being a part of a group, promoting social awareness and empathy.
We’re excited to support your child’s growth and development as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey. Together, we’ll create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive!
