Daniel Webster School
I am so excited and honored to be teaching at Daniel Webster Elementary and part of the Weehawken community. Here is a little bit about myself: I studied Elementary and Special Education at William Paterson University of New Jersey. I had the unique experience of teaching second grade in the Virgin Islands on the island of St. Croix. Although it was a wonderful experience, I am happy to be back home in New Jersey. This year, I am excited to be co-teaching with the wonderful Ms. Phillips. We are so happy to work together to use our combined knowledge and experience to educate your child.
I am a firm believer in keeping an open line of communication between home and school. After all, we have something special in common; your child!
It truly is an honor to be teaching here at Daniel Webster School as an alumni of the school and also as an alumni of the Weehawken School District.
A little about me, Lucy Phillips: I received my Bachelor's Degree in English at the College of Saint Elizabeth and obtained my Masters Degree in Elementary Education plus certification in Special Education at Felician University. I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher and I am so thankful to now be living that dream. It is an added bonus to be working alongside Ms. Fucarino and combining our thoughts and knowledge in the classroom.
I look forward to getting to know not only your child, but you as well! I know that this year will be a great year filled with endless learning and a side of fun as we work together as partners.
