Welcome to a new school year! I will be your child's 6th grade Social Studies teacher. I am entering my 21st year of teaching at Theodore Roosevelt School. During my time here, I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. I look forward to a wonderful and productive year with your child!

Homework:

Historic Times Begin:

  • Students are excited to begin their projects on Mesopotamia. Students will be working with their peers researching various groups of people who lived in Ancient Mesopotamia at different times (Babylonians, Assyrians, Sumerians, etc). They will then go on to create google slide presentations to present to the class. Please check google classroom for updates.


Students can access Studies Weekly at home:


Students will not have daily homework in Social Studies. Any homework will consist of finishing classwork, working on long and short term projects, and reviewing for tests.
