WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop allow you to use WhatsApp on your computer, which is especially helpful when you're working on a desktop or computer.
WhatsApp Web lets you use WhatsApp directly from a browser without needing to install an app.
Step 1: Open web.whatsapp.com on your computer's browser.
Step 2: On your phone, open WhatsApp.
On iPhone: Go to Settings > Linked Devices.
On Android: Tap the three dots in the top right corner, then go to Linked Devices.
Step 3: Tap Link a Device and use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on the computer screen.
Step 4: Once scanned, your WhatsApp chats will appear in the browser.
If you prefer a dedicated app rather than a browser tab, you can download WhatsApp Desktop.
Step 1: Download the WhatsApp Desktop app from WhatsApp's official site or your computer's app store.
Step 2: Open the WhatsApp Desktop app after installation.
Step 3: Similar to WhatsApp Web, open WhatsApp on your phone and go to Settings > Linked Devices (on iPhone) or Menu > Linked Devices (on Android).
Step 4: Tap Link a Device and scan the QR code displayed in the Desktop app.
Once you're set-up, you can use WhatsApp on your computer as long as your phone remains connected to the internet.
Send and receive messages and files just like on your mobile.
Notifications will appear on your computer if enabled.
Dark Mode is available by going to Settings > Theme.
Log Out anytime from the WhatsApp Web or Desktop interface or your phone's Linked Devices option.
