Orange Shirt Day 2021

Ms. Kim

Teaching was a dream career that I wanted to go into as a child. As I had opportunities to travel abroad to do missions, took co-op positions and had jobs, it only confirmed my strengths and desire to work with kids. I graduated Western University with a B.A. Major in Sociology and a Minor in Geography. After, I obtained my B. Ed. from Western University with a specialty cohort in Special Education. I've supplied and held LTOs across London at a variety of TVDSB schools. This will be my fifth year teaching and first time teaching a JK only curriculum.

I currently attend a local church, serve in a variety of capacities in the ministry teams, being discipled and discipling two other females at the church.

I am thankful and blessed to have this opportunity to teach JK at LCA this year!

Ms. Lopez

I have always loved working with children maybe because I am the second oldest from my siblings I always looked after my youngest sister and brother. From that time I knew I had a heart for the younger ones. During my time at church I served in the children's meetings then I served with the junior high girls and enjoyed every minute of it. I also went to Chile for a year and when ever there was an opportunity to be around and helping with the younger ones I took. I started my ECE I wasn't able to finish but I am working in finishing it starting next year. I had the opportunity to work with London Children's Connection for 11yrs and have enjoyed each year as I have met so many children and watching them grow enjoying their stories, joke, laughter's and even the hard times has help me gained experiences.

I am very thankful with the Lord for giving me this opportunity to be at LCA I cannot feel anything else but so blessed by Him. Hoping that He grows more in me that when ever I am with his children may it be Him using me to take care of them.
