Hello!

My name is Jessica Budek and I am the literacy coach at Hemlock Creek this year. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University in 2011 and my Master's Degree in Literacy & Language in 2015. Since beginning in my career in education I have taught second grade, third grade, and had various literacy roles. I married my husband Regan (a math teacher at West De Pere High School) in July of 2017. Our son, Patrick, was born in April of 2018, our daughter, Elizabeth, was born in March of 2021, and our daughter, Julia, was born in February of 2022. My personal passion is to instill a love of reading in my students. I look forward to learning and working with you this year!
