Hello Families!

Welcome to Mrs. Mack's Website! My name is Heather Mackesy, and I am one of the Special Education Teacher's at Hemlock Creek Elementary! 

I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in cross categorical special education. In 2011 I earned a master’s degree in education from St. Norbert College. I have taught grades all grades from Kindergarten to sixth grade. 

My husband and I moved to West De Pere in 2016. We have two children, Liam (10) and Lillian (7) both at Hemlock Creek. We are animal lovers and always seem to be expanding our list of pets. Nearly everything we do revolves around spending time with our family and close friends. We enjoy the outdoors, playing games, and entertaining. In my spare time, I love antiquing, crafting, up-cycling furniture, listening to live music and am always up for a good road trip! 

I am committed to creating an environment where every child is valued, trusted, respected and receives the skills to be the very best versions of themselves. Continuous collaboration, open communication, prioritizing relationships and making personal connections are at the forefront of my educational philosophy and belief. 

I am eager to meet and work with you this school year. It is bound to be a year filled with excitement, growth, and celebrations. Together we can make this an incredible year!
