Hello! My name is Billie Jo Havinga and I am the Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the West De Pere School District. I have been teaching since 2014, but began my career in education in 2009 as an educational interpreter. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our German Shepherd, Hans. I also like kayaking, camping, traveling and baking!  

As the only Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the West De Pere School District, each day looks different as I spend my time traveling throughout the week between the various schools to support our students with hearing loss.
