Hello and welcome to 5th and 6th Grade Band!

My name is Ms. Czachor and I teach 5th Grade Band and 6th Grade Band at West De Pere Intermediate School. 

I am a proud alumni of West De Pere and couldn't be more thrilled to be teaching here! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a BME in Instrumental and General Music. For the 2013-2014 school year I was the 5th-12th grade band teacher at Cassville School District. I joined West De Pere School District in 2014. Since teaching in West De Pere, I've taught general music for grades Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 6th grade, in addition to 5th grade band at Westwood and 6th grade band at the Middle School. I have also directed the Middle School Flute Choir, Middle School Jazz Band 2, assisted with 7th and 8th grade bands, and assisted with Memorial Day Parade Marching. 

I still actively perform on flute in a variety of groups including AVB Community Band (AVB website) and Green Bay Civic Symphony (Green Bay Civic Symphony website). I think it's important that students see performing an instrument is a lifetime activity, plus I really enjoy playing in both groups.
