West De Pere Staff

Meet Ms. Moeller

Hello! My name is Ms. Moeller and I'm in my 11th year of teaching, 5th at West De Pere. I am the Adapted Physical Education teacher for the West De Pere School District. This is a growing program in the continued start up phase for West De Pere which allows me to travel to all four schools in the school district and assist students with varying special needs (Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Orthopedic Impairments, Other Health Impairments, Serious Emotional Behavioral Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injuries, etc.) in their PE setting. My goal is to continue to develop the program to one of the best in the area with the most opportunities for our students.

Teaching adapted physical education is where my greatest passion lies. I love enriching the lives of today's youth. My teaching philosophy is a student first approach. I attend to the needs of each one of my students, so they experience success in their own way. I want each of my students to learn how to be physically active and live healthy a lifestyle for a lifetime. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have any questions or concerns. Email is the best way to get a hold of me, if you need a quick response, as I am traveling among four buildings throughout the day.

I am a West De Pere graduate. Following high school, I attended the University of Iowa for two year and completed my general education courses before deciding on a major that the University no longer offered. I transferred to Central Missouri State, where I played my last two years of soccer eligibility, before being medically released, as well as obtained Bachelors of Science Degree in Exercise Science. I took a few years off before returning to college at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Minors in Adaptive Physical Education, Coaching, and Health in 2010. I received my Masters of Science Degree in Adventure Education from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 2011.

When I am not teaching physical education, I enjoy coaching and playing golf, running, biking, playing sports, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
