Hello and welcome to our class website!  I am so excited for the opportunity to work with all of you this year. We have many exciting and engaging opportunities before us. As we learn and grow together this year, this site will provide you with ongoing support and bridge the gap between the classroom and your home. As you explore, you will find a great deal of information that will keep you in the loop and allow you to be an involved member of the learning process. Here's to a great year!

About Me:

I have been teaching social studies at West De Pere High School since fall 2023. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in History with a minor in Education. 

Before going back to school for teaching, I spent several years living and working in Minnesota as a  personal trainer and a martial arts instructor. While there, I also competed nationally in Taekwondo which gave me many great opportunities to see the country. I later moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and to begin working in  law enforcement. These experiences helped to shape my interest in teaching and a desire to help others grow. 

Along with teaching social studies, I have also helped out with the High School track program and assisted with weight room activities.  

Interests and hobbies

I have many interests and hobbies but never enough time for all of them.  I enjoy fishing, camping, playing with my two Australian Shepherds, sketching, playing music and spending time with family.
