Welcome to Mrs. Slattery's Kindergarten page!

Hello and welcome to my class website!  I am so excited for the opportunity to work with all of you this year! 

A little about me.  I have been in many roles related to education over the last 25 years, including 4K and Kindergarten here in West DePere. My husband Brian, is also an educator, working in Special Education. We have two children, both Westwood alumni.   When I'm not teaching, I spend a lot of my free time outside, hiking, walking, running, biking and camping.  

I have a very child-centered approach to education.  My belief is children need to know and feel they are loved and safe, before they can learn.  Your child will always be valued in my class (and heart).  Please always feel comfortable reaching out to me with any concerns or questions about your child.  My door is always open!
