Hello!                                                             

My name is Regan Budek.  The 2023 – 2024 school year marks my twenty-first year in the West De Pere School District.  Previously, I have taught third grade at Westwood Elementary for fifteen years and one year as Westwood's Math Interventionist. This is my fifth year in my position of High School Math.  I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I grew up in the small town of Felch and graduated from North Dickinson High School.  After high school I attended college at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, which is also in the Upper Peninsula.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2003.  In addition, I received my Master of Arts in Mathematics through Western Governors University and my high school math certification through UWGB.  My beautiful wife Jessica is also a teacher in the West De Pere School District.  She is the literacy coach at Hemlock Creek.  The two of us are proud parents of our son Patrick and our daughters Elizabeth and Julia. 

On top of teaching, I am also an assistant varsity football coach and I announce sporting games and DJ school dances.  When I do get a chance for free time, I enjoy spending time with Jessica, Patrick, Elizabeth and Julia, reading, working out in the gym, catching up on all the latest news with the Green Bay Packers, going to as many games at Lambeau as possible, bike riding and visiting with friends.
