Hello and welcome to Intermediate Art!

Hello and welcome to our class website! My mission of teaching is to help my students be more creative by encouraging them to take risks and collaborating with them to develop ideas while promoting choices within my curriculum. I strive for my students to be confident, respectful, and active in the art room community.

 Students have art class twice every 6 days for one semester; each class is 70 minutes long.  At the intermediate level, students will be building on their foundational skills from elementary and working to become independent artists. They will learn to use the artistic thinking process of finding inspiration, designing a project, creating their artwork, and then reflecting on their process and presenting their work. I'm very excited to see all of the great things my students create!

This is an online portfolio that our district has been using for years to keep parents updated as well as to raise funds for the art program.
