Hello and welcome to 8th Grade Social Studies!

I am very excited to have you join my class this year!  We spend a good portion of our year looking at the role of the individual in society, whether that be looking at your civic responsibilities and relationship with the government, strategies on how to support yourself financially and the way we interact with each other in our community, both locally and globally.  I look forward to year that we will create together and am excited to have your opinion shared throughout the  year!

I am entering my 10th year at the Middle School and am excited for another year with you.  I am a graduate of Green Bay East High School and currently live in the Appleton area with my wife, Allison and our three daughters, Macy, Murphie and Mira.  I received my Bachelor's at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in History, a certificate in Social Studies Education through the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and a Masters in Administration and Curriculum Instruction through Silver Lake College.
