Hello and welcome to my class!

I have been a special education teacher since 2009, and have been working at West De Pere High School since 2015. In addition to my teaching experience, I've been a Canine Companions Facility Dog Handler to a dog named Fenton since 2018. Fenton is  a lab golden cross and is trained in over 40 different commands. He helps students with stress reduction, calming panic attacks, motivation, creating independence with our students with mobility concerns, and creating a safe space for students without judgement.
