Conferencing: We are meeting with EVERY freshman student during Trimester 1 & EVERY junior in Trimester 2. Parents/Guardians are welcome to be part of their child's conference. Invitations will be sent via email for instructions on how/when to sign up.

College Applications: Application time ranges from August 1 thru spring. Be careful to watch application close dates posted by your college of choice. Not all colleges have the same application time period. The UW applications is linked here at UW Application. Wisconsin Technical College applications are here at Technical College Applications. ACT: The American College Test is needed for most college acceptance. The ACT is given seven times a year in the state of Wisconsin. September thru July. At WDP we feel the best time for a junior to take the official ACT is with the state assessment in February/March. No need to apply unless you are taking an additional ACT. See application and dates here.

Personal/Social Counseling: As a High School Counselor I can help with personal or social issues too. Please stop in and make an appointment if you need some assistance. Please know that I follow the confidentiality code which is What you share in here, stays in here EXCEPT if you might Hurt Yourself, Hurt Others, or have been abused physically or sexually.

You can use this career exploration tool for career assessments, college searches, career information, virtual college visits, learning style indicator, etc. There is great information waiting for you!

About Me: I started my education in the West De Pere School System many years ago, completing my K-12 education. After high school, I went to UW-Stout for my Education Degree. I taught for eight years at Wrightstown High School while completing my Master's Degree in Counseling at UW-Oshkosh. Bay Port High School hired my as a High School Counselor in 1994. I worked at Bay Port for ten years and then landed a job at West De Pere. I am very happy at West and everyday I feel blessed to be working in a progressive, positive, child-first school district.
