This will be my 21st year working with students and staff in the West De Pere School District as an Occupational Therapist. I feel so fortunate to work in such an incredible school district.
I have a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Throughout my years working as a school based Occupational Therapist, I have attended countless conferences and trainings to continue to learn and grow in my profession. Areas of learning include fine motor development, sensory processing, movement patterns, social skills, handwriting and many others.
I have two beautiful girls, Jenna (13) and Ashley (11), and an amazing son, Jack (9). We have a home in the Town of Kaukauna which is where I grew up and graduated high school. My husband owns and operates a machining business out of a shop on our property. Our family enjoys going up north to my parents cottage in Pickerel, being outdoors and spending time with our friends and families. I have a brother who lives in Durango, CO and a sister who lives in Kimberly, WI.
Welcome to the
Occupational Therapy Webpage!
School-based occupational therapy is designed to enhance the student's ability to fully access and be successful in the learning environment. This might include working on handwriting or fine motor skills so the child can complete written assignments, helping the child organize and regulate himself or herself in the environment (including work space in and around the desk), working with the teacher to modify the classroom and/or adapt learning materials to facilitate successful participation.
General Schedule
As one of the Occupational Therapists in the West De Pere School District, I spend my time traveling between Hemlock Creek Elementary School, the Intermediate School and Middle School. I work with students throughout their school environments including classrooms, the cafeteria, the playground and the OT room.
