Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!
I am thrilled to be teaching your child this school year and getting to know your family. As a special part of my classroom community, my hope for your child is that through an engaging, play-filled learning environment, they feel successful and develop a deep love of learning that carries with them throughout their school years and into their future outside of school. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and cannot wait to see how each student grows!
Our Classroom
To be successful in my classroom, I encourage all students to explore, ask questions, think critically, work with their peers, and try new things! Our classroom community will work together to support each other as we navigate the school year and take every opportunity to learn and grow.
About Me
I have been at Westwood since 2017. I have worked at Westwood as the kindergarten instructional aide, a substitute teacher in multiple classrooms throughout 4k - 5th grade, and now I am a full-time kindergarten teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree and teaching license from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. As a lifelong learner, I recently earned my Master of Science - Educational Psychology for Professional Educators degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
During my non-school time, I enjoy biking, hiking, trying new recipes in the kitchen, reading, watching movies, or spending time being creative through drawing, painting, or writing.
