World Language Classes
World Language classes use three modes of communication: interpretive (listening and reading), interpersonal (person-to-person), and presentational (writing and speaking).
English as a Second Language
You will learn to improve the level of proficiency you’ve come to our school with (entering, beginning, or developing), and you’ll work to expand your proficiency into the next level. The goal of the course is to become familiar with American culture, develop appropriate social language based upon your needs, acquire academic language to support content areas of study, and strengthen speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English.
