Student Google Accounts: Password Reset & Recovery
Please use the following information to establish access to your student’s Google account.
Student User Account Information
Username/Email address: 6 digit student ID + @wcusd.net
Example: 123456@wcusd.net
Token Password (password used to first access account): Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY)
Example: 01012001 (January 1, 2001)
Student Password Change
When signed into Google, in the top-right corner, click your profile icon/picture
Click “Manage your Google Account”
Click on the “Security” tab on the left, then click on “Password” in the “Signing in to Google” section
Students will be prompted to enter their current password, then enter their new one
Student Account Recovery
Students may recover access to their account if they have forgotten their password, through the Google “Forgot Password” option
Students will enter their username into the sign-in page, then click on the “Forgot Password?” link
The student will be prompted to enter a previous password
If a student is able to successfully recall a previous password, they will be prompted to change their password and will regain access to their account.
If a student is NOT able to successfully recall a previous password, their password can be reset by school site administration.
