Greetings! This is my sixth year as an educator with Whitfield County Schools, and I feel so blessed to be a Varnell COLT!

My husband and I have two boys. You'll find us  watching them play sports for the rec leagues and school most of the time.  I enjoy visiting theme parks and riding roller coasters, reading, going to church, and watching movies.  I'm a 2009 graduate from Dalton State College.  I obtained my masters degree from UWG in 2020 and my Ed.S in Instructional Technology in 2023.  It's nice to meet you! 

Hi! I’m Jennifer Pettyjohn, and this is my first year at Varnell Elementary as part-time media clerk. My husband Kyle and I have one  daughter, Kip. We love spending time together at the golf course, having movie nights, attending sporting events, and traveling. We love the beach with a good book! Crosspointe Christian Centre is our church home. I graduated from Berry College in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Psychology. I am excited about all the fun things we have planned to do together in the library!
