Using Google Meet As a Student

1.Open Google Meet by clicking the 9 square icon in the top right corner of your screen.  Then click the Meet icon.  You can also access Google Meet by typing meet.google.com in the URL address bar.  

2. You should receive a Meeting Code from your teacher through Schoology or Google Classroom.  Enter the Meeting Code in the box.

3.  After entering the Meeting Code, click Join.

4.  Click Allow Microphone and Camera.

5.  Click Allow to enable your camera and microphone.

6.  Click Allow to enable meet.google.com to show you notifications.  Then click Join Now to join the Google Meet.

7.  The student is now in the Meet.  From the student's view on the screen, the student will be seen on the larger screen while the host is in the smaller inset screen in the lower right corner of the picture.
